In the heart of an ultra-active and high cultural district, the Paris Montparnasse train station, built in 1966, is in the throes of upheaval. Like the famous Tower, which will also be completely renovated. The Station will become a place of life, leisure and services. New pedestrian green spaces will also be created.
4th Parisian train station, its traffic will increase to 90 million people in 2020. The new LGV lines brought it significantly closer to the West of France, linking Rennes in 1h15 and the South-West with Bordeaux in only 2h.
Everything is changing here: new spaces for trains, easy connections and more clarity on how to connect the different halls, a redesigned and very qualitative catering offer and especially 130 shops to come. First a place for exchanges and movements, the station is transformed into a place for strolling, shopping and fun!
It is also the end of the grey color of its concrete structure. Many openings and skylights are created and frescoes by Victor Vasarely impose their colorful punch. Don’t hesitate to rediscover the Paris Montparnasse station if you have the opportunity!
By September, Multiburo opens its doors in Montparnasse Station, on the 1st floor, at the corner of avenue du Maine and rue du Commandant Mouchotte, at the end of platforms 1 and 2. Take the opportunity to stop by for a coffee or work a few hours in a workspace dedicated to calm and comfort.
